House of Fraser, a British department store, announced this week that they will be adding a plus size online boutique to their retail website dedicated to selling stylish on-trend fashion to the plus size customer. This is a huge move for the retailer, who is known to sell plus sizes alongside standard sizes in their stores.
The new plus size online section, launching in early March, will include clothing from a variety of plus size designers and brands such as Junarose (see below), Marina Rinaldi and Anna Scholz. House of Fraser will offer UK sizes 14 – 28, which translates to US sizes 10 – 24.

Louise Bailey, House of Fraser‘s Womenswear Brand & Concession Buying Manager, told InStyle.Co.uk:
“As a reaction to the growing demand for more plus size womenswear, we have created an online boutique that showcases some of the most exciting brands from around the world. We know our customers are women who want trend led pieces and won’t compromise on style or fit so we have carefully selected an assortment of brands that together create the style conscious woman’s perfect wardrobe.”
They will also offer swimwear, intimates and accessories. Great news to us in the US… they ship to the US with standard shipping being £6, which is about $10 US.
House of Fraser‘s plus-size boutique will open on March 3.
